What an Alorica Experience

After weeks of contemplating where to apply, I finally chose Alorica because of what I’ve learned online. Well it shows in my previous post that it is a company of choice and meets my expectations.

Last week, I applied for a Technical Support Representative and what a great applicant’s experience I’ve had.

I commend Alorica’s recruitment process. Everyone is well informed and guided through their roll-up banners, educating every applicant on what process they will undergo and on what process they are already at. Even the requirements needed for employment are posted at their recruitment hub making everyone knowledgeable on what they need to accomplish.

Alorica recruitment team is so friendly and accommodating. You can see in their faces their willingness to help and entertain their applicants.

My experience in Alorica is something I’ll never forget. It’s the first time in my entire BPO or Call Center life that I felt needed or valued while I’m applying for a career that I love.

Great job Alorica! Keep it up!

Alorica- Call Center of Choice

I’ve been working in the Call Center Industry for quite a while.  With more than eight years of experience, I know who the trailblazers are and the best Call Center Company to work for. In searching for a fulfilling career and better future, I’m very selective and will consider only the crème de la crème.

Because of my motivation, resiliency and customer service ability, I’ve been given an opportunity to join a few but leading Call Center Companies in the Philippines. The exposure to different cultures and business objectives has made me better understand what is really valuable to me. Frankly, I was not satisfied with what they have offered, and I’ve realized that everyone has talked about the same promises–biggest players in the industry and yet little benefits to the employees.

While browsing the Web and with help from Mr. Google, Alorica has made a very good impression to me. And through my research, I found many more good things about Alorica, not just the salary package but more importantly the medical benefits for me and my family. With increasing prices of hospitalization, who wouldn’t want to receive this added value? The company’s year-on-year growth is promising especially for the employees who would like to fast track their career. And know this–more than 90% of its agents have been promoted from within! Truly, I’m very excited to be part of the Alorica family. Although you’ll find some negative comments on the Web, based on my analysis, these are just rants from unsatisfied people who were either former non-performing employees or applicants who failed during the hiring process.

Founded in the US in 1999, Alorica has been in the business for more than 10 years and has expanded exponentially to more than 40 locations all over the world, with four sites in the Philippines–two in Makati, and one delivery center each in Lipa and Cebu. Today, the company has more than 20,000 employees. Imagine that? Despite the diversity in people’s background, the company’s culture is the binding factor that makes One Alorica.

I believe Alorica is the employer of choice, especially for someone like me who’s in search of the best working environment for me to learn and grow professionally.

Here’s a glimpse of the benefits that employees enjoy at Alorica in the Philippines:
-Competitive compensation package (above-average industry compensation standard)
- Health and medical benefits for you and your dependents
- Balancing your work and family with vacation leave and sick leave conversion
- Commission/Bonus pay in addition to your competitive wage (program specific)
- Night differential and odd hours pay
- Group life insurance
- Career growth through promotion and leadership training
- Recognition for work well done
- Lucrative employee referral program
- Friendly, safe and clean working environment
- Exceptional amenities and fun employee engagement programs

Check out their vacancies at www.alorica.com or visit their office at 5/F Alphaland Southgate Tower, which is conveniently accessible through the Magallanes MRT station located along Edsa, 2258 Chino Roces Avenue Makati, or in the beautiful city of Cebu at the 5/F Skyrise Bldg. 1 of Asiatown IT Park. And I’ve got to say, the applicant experience was so warm and welcoming with snacks and drinks!
